At PHYSIOTECH, we specialize in creating diagnostic kits designed for the precise assessment of oxidative stress, a fundamental factor underlying several chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, hepatotoxicity, infertility, and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Our kits allow for the direct measurement of key biomarkers in various biological samples, including serum, plasma, urine, saliva, milk, semen, tissue homogenates, and plant material.
Our flagship product line includes colorimetric assays that determine total oxidant levels, free radicals, and total antioxidant capacity within samples. These measurements provide critical insights into the oxidative stress status of individuals, contributing significantly to early detection and management of chronic conditions.
PHYSIOTECH kits are available in flexible formats, offering 100/200 tests or 25/50 tests per kit, depending on customer needs. Dr. Haseeb Anwar
DIRECTOR, PHYSIOTECH
Dr. Haseeb Anwar is the visionary founding Director of PHYSIOTECH, Pakistan. With a strong academic foundation and professional experience, he currently serves as the Chairperson of the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Life Sciences, at Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF), Punjab, Pakistan.
Dr. Haseeb holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and an MPhil in Parasitology from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, where he also completed his PhD in Physiology in 2011. His career spans key roles, including Research Associate, Veterinary Officer, and Assistant Research Officer at leading research institutes in Pakistan. Since 2012, he has been an integral part of GCUF as an Assistant Professor and In-charge of the Department of Physiology.
Under his leadership, PHYSIOTECH was established with a mission to create diagnostic and research products addressing oxidative stress and its impact on chronic diseases. His extensive experience in managing research projects and collaborating with national and international institutions has shaped PHYSIOTECH’s growth and development. With a focus on advancing diagnostic tools, Dr. Haseeb’s research revolves around metabolic disorders such as diabetes, hypertension, and the role of gut microbiome in disease progression.
Dr. Haseeb’s achievements include guiding over 100 MPhil and 6 PhD students, securing research funds exceeding 10 million PKR, and receiving prestigious awards such as the Prof. Samina Jalali Gold Medal in Reproductive Physiology and multiple research productivity accolades. His dedication to research, innovation, and academic excellence has also earned him recognition in Pakistan’s scientific community, including being named Pakistan Eminent Scientist (Life Sciences) and Star Laureate by South Asia Publications.
